Swiftway Privacy Policy

Your privacy is important to Swiftway Companies hereafter referred to as "Swiftway", we take customer data and security seriously. Swiftway is therefore pleased to provide this privacy statement to inform you of Swiftway’s practices with respect to the storage and use of your personal information (“Personal Data”).

Compliance with Data Protection Laws, in particular the GDPR

Swiftway undertakes to comply by its obligations in accordance with the General Data Regulations “GDPR”, in particular with the Regulation 2016/679/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data. Swiftway has no knowledge of the data that each customer processes within their own business infrastructure, for that reason Swiftway cannot be the processor or a controller of such data.

The Information We Obtain and How We Use It

The information we obtain from you is generally necessary for us to provide you with services and design new services for your future use.

  1. When you purchase something from our website or directly from our company, as part of the buying and selling process we need to know your name, company name, address, phone number, e-mail address and the services you buy from us to properly provide and invoice for those services, respond to your requests or recommend how we can best serve you. We may also collect your account information with Swiftway such as services you ordered, the IP address assigned to you, your customer IDs, payment information, the use of Swiftway services, communication records or any other information related to your account. We reserve the right to also require documents and information that confirm your identity.

  2. We use Personal Data to administer and support the use of the Swiftway services through our platform and other communication channels.

  3. We may also use information in our records to protect our customers, employees or property - for instance, to investigate fraud, harassment or other types of unlawful service activities involving Swiftway or other carriers that we do business with.   7. We will use your Personal Data in the recruitment process when you apply for employment through our website or platform. This will be necessary for us to be able to respond to your application for employment.

  8. With your permission, we may send you emails about our website, new products and other updates. By subscribing to our newsletter on the website, you will be asked to provide your e-mail address.

Accuracy of the Information We Hold

We want to make sure the information we obtain and use about customers is accurate. To that end, we strive to verify that our customer records are correct. To do that we may also contact you using the phone number you provide us with. Much of this information is reflected in your monthly invoice. Furthermore, you may view your records upon request. If you see an inaccuracy on your Swiftway invoice or in your records, and you let us know, we can correct it.

Your rights

Disclosure of Information Outside Swiftway

As a general rule, without your permission, Swiftway does not release confidential customer information to unaffiliated third parties. We will only disclose your personal data to third parties, who are not Swiftway group companies, in the following 4 exceptions:

Privacy Over the Internet

The only individually identifiable information Swiftway obtains about individual visitors to our websites is information supplied voluntarily by the visitor. This means that you can visit our websites without telling us who you are or revealing any information about yourself. To gauge the effectiveness of our websites, we do collect some non-individually-identifiable generic information about our visitors. Our Web servers automatically recognize a visitor's Internet service provider, the IP address, the domain name, the name of the browser, and the operating system. Swiftway or those with whom Swiftway has a business relationship, upon received consent will use email, telephone and other messaging services to communicate with our customers, respond to visitors' emails, or to inform about events or new products.

How long will the information be retained?

Your personal data in Swiftway databases will be retained as long as it is reasonably necessary for the purposes mentioned in this Privacy Policy, or in accordance to the law requirements, whichever is the longer.


Swiftway does not intentionally collect personal data from children under the age of 16. If you have a reason to believe that a child under the age of 16 has provided personal data to Swiftway, please contact us and we will erase that information from our databases.
